Louisville, also known as, the City of Parks, is working hard to add even more!

If you have another park I should add to this list, please contact me and let me know. Thanks!

  • Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest
Since 1928, Bernheim Forest has been a nature lover's dream. With over 30 miles of hiking trails, this is a big place. Three lakes, a pavilion, a canopy treewalk and more. Check it out.
  • Kentucky State Parks
This site has a great deal of information about all the great parks located across this beautiful state.
  • Falls of the Ohio State Park
"Located on the banks of the Ohio River in Clarksville, Indiana at I-65, exit 0, is the Falls of the Ohio State Park. The 386-million-year-old fossil beds are among the largest, naturally exposed, Devonian fossil beds in the world."
  • Louisville Metro Parks
Louisville is rapidly making a name for itself as the City of Parks. 124 parks, really?
  • Louisville Waterfront Park
It's a beautiful place right by the river near the downtown area. This site hosts over 120 events a year!
  • Mammoth Cave National Park
Not exactly in Louisville, but a short drive will reward you with a remarkable experience at the world's largest known cave. Seriously.

So much to love with more on the way!
